| SOLVENT FREE™ CURCUMIN EXTRACT 95% |
|
Solvent Free™ means no chlorinated or other Class 1 solvents are used in the extraction process or found in the final product. Chlorinated Class 1 solvents are often used to manufacture curcumin extract having been identified as carcinogenic by the FDA and cGMP. Product sampling whether from standard raw material suppliers or professional brands, show levels ranging from just above 5 ppm to 2760 ppm in the final product. Further, some brands do not list chlorinated solvents on their Certificate of Analysis, yet they were found upon further testing. While levels above 5 ppm are restricted even at 2 ppm they can be problematic. This is especially true in curcumin where large doses and long-term use are recommended. BioActives’ Solvent Free™ Curcumin extract gives you and your patients the assurance that long-term use will be safe and effective.
